Your focus will be to conduct
- depth diagnostic research to learn what consumers think, feel, and do along their journeys; translate insights into actionable recommendations; connect all consumer insights into holistic reports; leverage digital sources; and predict the impact of insights implementation. The Senior Specialist enables senior management to design and execute
- centric business strategies.
Focus Areas
- Understanding key business questions and market needs
- Generating insights for the multicategory market environment, including targeting, portfolio optimization, and communication development
- Conducting
- depth diagnostic research to learn what adult smokers/users think and do along their journey to RRPs - Connecting all consumer insights to produce reports in a holistic 360 view for immediate commercial action
- Maintaining standard research tools monthly, ensuring processes are respected and deliverables meet stakeholder expectations
- Maintaining data management systems and
- end data infrastructure, with emphasis on data extraction and analysis preparation - Using traditional research and new analytics tools to build stronger, holistic insights
- Answering business questions from commercial teams with
- centric decisions
Day to day
- Deliver Market Research requests on time, design questionnaires and discussion guides for ad hoc studies with external suppliers and PMI Market Research Cluster; ensure findings meet internal client needs
- Cooperate with market research agencies to ensure timely deliverables, provide feedback to improve conclusions and final reports
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends; build ad hoc analyses
- house using available tools and other information sources (finance data, Net Promoter Score, etc. ) - Support ongoing development of Consumer Centric Strategies by providing
- up information and relevant consumer data to internal clients - Support the Head of Data Insights & Analytics to build a strong department and deliver
- quality insights and recommendations
What we’re looking for
- University degree in Psychology, Market Research, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or equivalent
- Knowledge of market research methodologies (e. g. , brand and image, pricing, communication)
- 3–5 years’ experience with quantitative data in a market research agency or as a client
- Strong level of Microsoft Excel and Power
Point proficiency - Working knowledge of Python, Power BI, DAX, Qlik
View, Tableau - Some knowledge of Net Promoter Score is preferred
- Passion for understanding consumers and finding data patterns
- Open-minded, curious with strong attention to detail
- Continuous learning and
- solving mindset - Data storytelling skills to connect, interpret, and present data with actionable recommendations
- Native Portuguese and fluent English; some knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required
