We're hiring a Content Writer & Social Media Manager!

Zerra is on a mission to make global relocation easy, smart, and
- free. We’re looking for a content professional who can think clearly, write with depth, and keep our voice consistent across platforms. You’ll work closely with one of the
- founders, shaping Zerra’s editorial direction and turning complex ideas into accessible, engaging stories.

Position:

Part-Time / Project Basis

Location: Lisbon (Remote + 1 day per week in the office)

Contract: 3 months (with possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

• Social Media: Create and publish 3 posts per week across X, Linked
  In, and Instagram, derived from approved
  - form content and editorial themes.
• Long-form Content: Write one
  - depth blog post per week, expanding on Zerra’s core topics and insights.
• Newsletter: Support the biweekly newsletter, ensuring tone and topics align with Zerra’s brand and narrative.
• Lead Magnets: Contribute to 2 guides or research pieces per month, supporting structure and copy.
• Reddit Preparatory activity: Curate and draft Reddit posts or discussion prompts weekly, enabling the team to join and contribute meaningfully to relevant conversations.
• Research: Use AI tools only for data collection or reference — all writing must be original and human.

Ideal Candidate:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English
• A natural storyteller: someone who can turn complex, technical topics into clear, engaging, and even addictive narratives.
• Content magician: able to craft words that inform, inspire, and convert; their writing doesn’t just communicate, it moves people.
• Proven writer with a strong portfolio across articles, landing pages, or
  - leadership content.
• Solid understanding of global mobility, tax strategy, or the tech/startup ecosystem / or the ability to quickly learn and translate niche topics into compelling insights.
• Strategic thinker who knows how to connect content with growth, demonstrating measurable organic impact (traffic, leads, engagement).
• SEO-savvy and
  - minded, with an understanding of keyword intent, user behavior, and performance tracking.
• Reliable,
  - managed, and
  - oriented, capable of owning projects from concept to publication.
• Thrives in a
  - paced, collaborative environment, with curiosity and craftsmanship at the core of everything they write.
