Role Overview

Data Center Infrastructure Technician at Axians Portugal. Join an international group to support digital transformation.

Day to Day

• Lead and execute infrastructure expansion projects (Racks, PODs, HVAC, UPS, electrical panels, etc. )
• Coordinate and validate engineering activities to meet operational and technical standards
• Manage budgets and analyze financial data to support strategic decisions
• Install and maintain hardware and network infrastructure (servers, switches, FO/UTP cabling, etc. )
• Identify, inventory, and register all Data Center assets and liabilities
• Supervise technician and customer access through
  - based workflows and accreditation
• Communicate effectively in Portuguese and English, both remotely and
  - site
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal company policies
• Support daily infrastructure tasks and service requests via ticketing system

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or any related field
• Minimum experience of 3 years in Data Center implementation and/or operation, in productive and critical environments
• Practical experience and
  - how in project management tools, continuous improvement and failure analysis
• Familiarity with environmental protection measures
• Proficiency in Auto
  CAD
• Basic knowledge in Networking (concepts)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc. )
• Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, MS Windows Server)
• Knowledge of English (reading, writing and professional conversation)
