About the role
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the negotiation and management of contracts with clients’ procurement departments, as well as managing partnerships and supplier relationships. This role requires leadership, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities across different teams.
This is a 9‑month maternity leave cover position.
Key responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations with clients’ procurement departments, ensuring favourable terms and protecting the company’s interests.
- Review and analyse contract terms, identify risks and propose mitigation solutions.
- Interact with the Legal Team when required.
- Oversee management of existing contracts, including amendments, renewals and terminations, ensuring compliance.
- Lead new client onboarding processes, including contract negotiation and signature.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external organisations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual requirements.
- Qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with B2B requirements.
- Manage purchase order issuing, invoicing and payment release processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage annual supplier performance activities, fostering relationships and driving continuous improvement. Continuously evaluate and improve contract negotiation, partnership management and supplier management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline workflows and minimise risks.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners regarding contract‑related matters.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of contracts, rate cards and intellectual‑property rights to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- property rights by registering assets and frameworks and guiding correct usage of open‑source software.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law or a related field (advanced degree or professional certification preferred).
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and management, partnership management and supplier relationship management (ideally in the IT industry).
- Solid understanding of contract law, risk management and compliance requirements.
- Affinity for analysing complex contracts with legal awareness.
- Proficiency in contract‑management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).

- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
