LEICA PORTUGAL is searching for a Controller to its facilities in V. N. Famalicão.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This professional will be responsible for managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast processes, ensuring that financial information is available for decision making. The role also covers providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. Analyzing every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Master and professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• 3+ years of professional financial/accounting management;
• Experience as Audit and previous experience in industrial sector (ideally);
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Organized, Accountable, and Analytical skills;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and communicate at all levels;
• Knowledge of SOX, compliance and internal controls related with Financial Reporting;
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Databases, Power query (ideally), etc;
• Knowledge and experience of SAP.
