Responsibilities

• Assess Counterparty and Credit Risk
  • Collect and monitor key information on clients, such as annual reports, financial statements, website information, and internal inputs for business line memos.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers for in‑depth knowledge of client environment, strategy, resources and financials.
  • Analyse and summarise the counterparty and credit risk on clients and prospects.
• Prepare Credit Proposals
  • Complete Credit Proposals compliant with guidelines, quality standards and policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of credit process efficiency.
• Monitor Credit Risk
  • Ensure follow‑up of client exposure and monitor global credit risks by alerting on any change in ratings, major events or material evolution.
  • Monitor client covenants, strategy implementation and risk profile.
  • Maintain portfolio reports and proactively use internal credit tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Financial Advisory.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail with an analytical approach and ability to synthesise.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Candidate can be based in Lisbon or Porto, according to preference.
