Responsibilities
- Assess Counterparty and Credit Risk
- Collect and monitor key information on clients, such as annual reports, financial statements, website information, and internal inputs for business line memos.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers for in‑depth knowledge of client environment, strategy, resources and financials.
- Analyse and summarise the counterparty and credit risk on clients and prospects.
- Prepare Credit Proposals
- Complete Credit Proposals compliant with guidelines, quality standards and policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement of credit process efficiency.
- Monitor Credit Risk
- Ensure follow‑up of client exposure and monitor global credit risks by alerting on any change in ratings, major events or material evolution.
- Monitor client covenants, strategy implementation and risk profile.
- Maintain portfolio reports and proactively use internal credit tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Financial Advisory.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail with an analytical approach and ability to synthesise.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
- Candidate can be based in Lisbon or Porto, according to preference.
