About the Job
Produce high‑quality Credit Proposals in a timely and efficient manner to enable BNP Paribas Corporate Coverage to do new business with clients (i. e. gain credit committee approval for new business), manage exposure to credit risk and meet its regulatory requirements (Annual Reviews).
Main Activities
- Assessment of Counterparty and Credit Risk
- Collecting and monitoring key information on clients (annual reports, financial statements, website information) and requesting/analysing internal inputs.
- Liaising with Relationship Managers to gain in‑depth knowledge of client environment, strategy, resources and financials.
- Analyzing and summarising counterparty and credit risk on clients and prospects.
- Preparation of Credit Proposals
- Completing Credit Proposals compliant with guidelines, quality standards and policies.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of credit process efficiency.
- Credit Risk Monitoring
- Ensuring follow‑up of client exposure and monitoring global credit risks by alerting on any change in ratings, any major event or material evolution.
- Monitoring client covenants, strategy implementation and risk profile.
- Maintaining portfolio reports and using internal credit tools proactively.
Profile and Skills
- Academic background in economics, finance, management or accounting.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of professionalism.
- Strong communication skills.
