As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an Associate to provide direct support to a Project Manager and coordinate a team of Analysts, contributing to the firm’s expanding business.
Description
- Join LGG Advisors’ growing Finance & Strategy team, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid.
- Support
- impact consulting projects in areas such as M&A, Due Diligence, Capital Raising, Private Placements, and Corporate Strategy. - Work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate the efforts of Analysts/Senior Analysts on various client projects.
- Engage in complex, fast‑pacedenvironments with strong learning and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Project Manager on ad hoc client‑related projects.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of a team of Analysts/Senior Analysts.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to Analysts/Senior Analysts.
- Manage daily communication and troubleshooting with high‑profile clients (primary liaison).
- Handle day‑to‑day correspondence with clients and their representatives.
- Generate client‑facing presentations, pitch‑books, data analysis, and financial modelling.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the Financial Services Industry, with strong expertise in Corporate Finance and M&A, ideally from a Big 4 Consultancy firm, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
- Fluency in English at a proficient level (previous full‑time education taught in English or work experience in an English‑speaking environment is a plus).
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Business, Economics, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power
Point. - Strong interest in the financial services industry with a solid understanding of current market trends.
- Advanced technical and analytical skills in Corporate Finance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
