Role & Responsibilities
The CSRD Implementation Manager oversees the effective delivery of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) programs within SBM. They/She ensures compliance with new regulations, promotes awareness within the organization, and develops and executes a strategic roadmap for CSRD and CSDDD.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing your expertise area and your team for the global organization. As CSRD Implementation Manager, you will:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for CSRD implementation.
- Lead CSRD program workstreams, focusing on policy, disclosures, and value chain engagement.
- Identify gaps between CSRD and CSDDD requirements; develop action plans with business partners.
Project and Process Management
- Monitor project milestones for timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate
- functional teams across departments. - Oversee the annual reporting process, ensuring CSRD compliance and timely delivery.
- Implement and support digital transformation through Sustainability/CSRD tools.
- Drive continuous process improvements.
Data and Risk Management
- Develop initiatives for efficient data collection and accurate reporting.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to CSRD program implementation.
- Maintain and improve internal control processes.
Team Management
- Manage and supervise the CSRD team’s activities and performance.
- Share knowledge, train, and coach organization members on CSRD requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including leadership, auditors, and external parties.
- Foster collaboration across diverse viewpoints.
- Participate in implementing Sustainability/CSRD reporting tools.
Annual Report
- Coordinate and organize the annual report process.
- Review and improve the reporting process.
- Liaise with auditors and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Master’s degree, preferably with RA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong background in finance and annual reporting.
- Fluency in English.
Experience:
- 10+ years in relevant fields, including financial and CSRD reporting.
- Proven corporate annual reporting experience.
- Project management skills, especially in finance projects.
- Stakeholder management experience in complex environments.
- Proficiency in
