Job Opportunity: Cost Accountant Consultant (Temporary) – SAP S/4HANA

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cost Accountant Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in manufacturing environments and enjoy driving cost efficiency and accuracy.

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA preferred
- SAP certification in CO (Controlling) or FI (Financial Accounting) is a plus

Experience
- 3–5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Product Costing
- Familiarity with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles

Technical Skills
- Proficient in SAP modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing
- Experience with Material Ledger, BOMs, and Routings
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain standard costs and costing variants
- Perform cost roll-ups, cost estimates, and costing runs
- Monitor and explain cost variances (standard vs. actual)
- Support month-end close and inventory reconciliations
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost efficiency
