About The Role

As a Cost Accountant, you will support the Controller & Accounting Manager to verify the accuracy of stock accounting and ensure all transactions are accurate & posted timely. You will assist with reviewing and analyzing existing financial processes, developing improvements, and automating to increase efficiency. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and fostering strong
- business relationships will be key to support the organization’s growth.

What you will do:

1. Support
   - end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
2. Analyze product and landed costs, recommending improvements.
3. Prepare and reconcile inventory across brands and locations.
4. Maintain standard costs and update landed costs in collaboration with finance and supply chain teams.
5. Assist in developing and implementing stock and COGS accounting processes.
6. Leverage API feeds and data for efficiency and process improvements.
7. Determine landed costs related to purchases, freight, and duties.
8. Support integration of acquired brands concerning inventory and costing.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in manufacturing or supply chain, with deep understanding of cost accounting, and 4-5 years in finance.
• Experience with SQL and analyzing large data sources (preferred).
