Cost Controller (Maternity Leave Cover)
Responsibilities
- Drive & support key finance processes (operative planning, forecasts, closing).
- Provide clear, comprehensive and accurate financial data and guidance, supporting decision making.
- Liaise with stakeholders (controlling, accounting, HR) to provide accurate analysis and meaningful storylines.
- Planning: act as focal point for data feeding and data quality, ensure consistency and accuracy, propose realistic phasing plan based on analytics, utilize predictive forecasting through simulation development.
- Reporting: pre‑digest closing data via SAP Analytics Cloud, compare performance, highlight discrepancies, act as BI focal point performing data analytics, ensure data quality and circularity within reports, performance analysis on manufacturing hourly rate, collaborate with HR on integrated headcount reporting structure.
- Other: identify competitiveness measures through benchmarking of costs across Airbus functions, share best practices across functions for the controlling community.
Requirements
- Business Management education in Finance or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of accounting/controlling.
- Talent for agile, reliable and fast data management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: deliverable‑driven, able to work with short deadlines.
- Good analytical skills with ability to switch from big picture to detailed view.
- Problem‑solver.
- Proactive in proposing improvement solutions to the business.
- Able to look at performance/sustainability on short‑/mid‑/long‑term solutions.
- Communication skills: creating trustful relationships quickly in a remote work context, maintaining a broad network within finance and HR functions.
- Ethics and compliance adherence, understanding of data confidentiality rules.
- English required; knowledge of French, German or Spanish a plus.
- Full mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
