Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia

Requirements:

Academic Background

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field. Postgraduate or MBA in Real Estate or Project Management is a plus.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction or real estate development, preferably with background in general contracting.
• Proven track record in cost optimization, value engineering, and construction cost control, particularly in residential and
  - use projects.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, technical design, construction methods, and project financials.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of construction budgeting, cost breakdowns, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with construction cost databases, benchmarks, and market pricing.
• Experience with contract negotiation, risk management, and financial modelling.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
