Role Overview:

We are hiring a Country Manager to lead operations in Portugal for a global agrochemical company. This senior role includes P&L ownership , strategic leadership, and commercial growth responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a Portugal-based professional with strong expertise in crop nutrition , and working knowledge of pesticides and biologicals .

Experience in Sulphur is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead country operations with full P&L accountability .
• Develop and execute

  - market strategies for crop inputs.
• Drive sales and market expansion across crop nutrition , pesticides , and biologicals .
• Build strong relationships with distributors , channel partners , and regulators .
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage market intelligence.
• Collaborate with internal teams:
  
  R&D, supply chain, regulatory, and marketing .
• Represent the company at key industry events and forums.

Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy , or related field.

Experience:

• 12–15 years in the agrochemical sector , with a focus on crop nutrition .
• 4–5 years in a Country Manager or senior leadership role.
• Experience with pesticides and biologicals is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong in business strategy , market development , and team leadership .
• Deep understanding of the Portuguese Agro-input market .
• Fluent in English and Turkish .
