We are recruiting a Country Manager for Portugal for a leading company in the education sector.

Job description:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the
  - term strategic vision for the company's operations in Portugal;
  
  

• Identify growth opportunities in the specialized medical training sector in Portugal and other areas related to healthcare education.

Educational Excellence

• Ensure the quality and relevance of training programs, aligning them with the requirements of the Portuguese residency access exam (Prova Nacional de Acesso à Formação Especializada);
  
  

• Promote innovation in teaching methods, integrating digital technologies and advanced pedagogical approaches in coordination with ongoing Global projects.

Organic and Inorganic Growth

• Expand market share by optimizing and broadening the educational offerings;
  
  

• Develop key relationships with educational, healthcare, and financial stakeholders to drive growth.

Operational and Financial Management

- Lead, mentor, and build a
- performance management team;

• Ensure the achievement of financial objectives, including cost control, revenue generation, and profitability;
  
  

• Optimize governance structures and operational processes to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance in Portugal.

Institutional Relations and Representation

• Act as the primary representative of the company in Portugal, maintaining relationships with educational and healthcare institutions;
  
  

• Participate in key conferences, seminars, and industry forums to position the company as a leader in health sciences education.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience in the education sector, preferably in health sciences;
  
  

• Provenexperience in organic and inorganic growth strategies;
  
  

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams;
  
  

• Deep knowledge of the Portuguese education market and regulations;
  
  

• Fluentin Portuguese and English;
  
  Spanish proficiency is a plus.
