The Opportunity

Access Healthcare is looking for a
- oriented Credit Controller to strengthen our Finance team in Porto. You’ll play a key role in keeping cash flow steady and financial reporting accurate, ensuring our international operations run smoothly. This is also a chance to recommend and implement process improvements that make a real difference.

What You’ll Do

Collections & Client Relations

- Manage and monitor invoices to reduce overdue payments.

- Contact corporate clients by phone and email to secure timely payment.

- Negotiate payment plans when necessary and escalate issues as appropriate.

- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.

- Spot opportunities to enhance processes and systems and help put those changes in place.

Accounts Receivable Operations

- Process incoming payments promptly and accurately.

- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Prepare statements, aging reports, and assist with
- end close.

- Respond to client queries on invoices, payments, or balances.

- Report key Accounts Receivable metrics to the leadership team.

What We’re Looking For

- 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, or a similar finance role.

- Secondary education required; an accounting or finance qualification is a plus.

- Experience with accounting software (e. g. , Sage, Quick
Books) preferred.

- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
