Job Description

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will support transport coordination, focusing mainly on maritime exports (cross-border transports).

Main Responsibilities:

• Check transport needs and requirements, calculate load dimensions, prepare transport schedules considering work hours, tonnage spread, etc. , and report daily accomplishments.
• Prepare and verify transport documents (packing lists, export documents, etc. ), ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Follow up on shipment status, address deviations, and report to stakeholders.
• Arrange express shipments and external storage if necessary.
• Validate transport invoices, including surcharges, and support
  - making regarding acceptance.
• Handle complaints related to transport delays in cooperation with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot transportation issues and provide solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency with ERPs like SAP or Infor
  LN.
• Strong organizational and
  - management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid English skills; French is a plus.
• Resident in Ovar or nearby area.
