Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing all activities related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal procedures, and certification standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and Certification Management
- Plan, prepare, and oversee internal, external, and client audits.
- Communicate and coordinate with certification bodies (SMETA, GRS, FSC, HIGG, BLUESIGN, OEKO-TEX, Position Green).
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for audits.
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits.
Non-Conformities and Complaint Management
- Identify, analyse, and address
- conformities related to CSR, environmental or EHS matters arising from audits, clients, or internal processes. - Define and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.
- Ensure effective resolution of complaints and continuous improvement of related processes.
CSR and EHS Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to CSR and EHS.
- Monitor workplace conditions and environmental factors (noise, lighting, VOCs, thermal comfort) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Validate PPE, chemical products, emergency kits, and other
- related equipment. - Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of emergency systems (alarms, fire extinguishers, evacuation plans, and MAP procedures).
Management of CSR and EHS Systems and Documentation
- Maintain and update all CSR and EHS management systems and certification platforms (such as SAQ/SMETA, FSC, Bluesign Cube, HIGG).
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and

- date data across all CSR and EHS records, reports, and documentation. - Prepare and submit declarations, certificates, and documents requested by clients, auditors, or authorities.
- Coordinate the implementation and
- up of action plans resulting from audits or system reviews.
Training and Awareness
- Plan and deliver training programs on safety, environment, chemicals, and CSR.
- Promote employee awareness to ensure compliance with internal procedures and certification requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments to ensure alignment on CSR and EHS matters.
- Communicate indicators, audit results, corrective actions, and process improvements clearly and effectively.
Continuous Improvement and Performance Monitoring
- Monitor CSA and EHS indicators and propose improvement actions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce
- conformities, and strengthen the management system. - Support initiatives related to decarbonisation, circular economy, chemical management, and other environmental improvements.
External Representation
- Represent Nilorn in interactions with clients, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory entities.
- Ensure professional, technical, and
- compliant communication aligned with Nilorn values.
Required skills:
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles, environmental management, and occupational health & safety regulations.
- Experience with certification schemes and audit processes (e. G. , SMETA, FSC, HIGG, Bluesign, OEKO-TEX, Position Green).
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits or inspections.
- Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification, and compliance monitoring in workplace safety and environmental management.
- Proficiency in management systems and CSR/EHS software platforms, including maintaining documentation and reporting for audits and certifications.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CSR and EHS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and other internal reporting or documentation systems.

Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
- Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Safety, Health, or other related areas.
- Certification as a Senior Safety Technician – considered a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS or CSR roles.
- Proven experience in project management, audits, compliance, and system implementation.
- Experience in leading CSR or EHS initiatives within a
- functional environment is highly valued.

- functional teams to achieve CSR and EHS objectives. - Analytical mindset with ability to assess risks, drive improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
