The Opportunity
The Customer Care Specialist responds to customer inquiries, takes ownership of issues, handles complaints, and develops strategies to improve the customer experience and foster loyalty. This role involves delivering exceptional service, being the first point of contact, and supporting business growth by understanding customer needs and discussing alternative solutions.
Success in this role requires:

- Problem Solving – Analyzing situations, identifying root causes, and finding effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, beneficiaries, and agents.
- Answer inquiries about policies, claims, premiums, and coverage.
- Assist with policy applications, updates, and documentation.
- Handle complaints and escalate complex issues.
- Guide on claim processes and follow up.
- Record interactions accurately.
- Educate customers on policies and benefits.
- Process renewals, cancellations, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Native Portuguese speaker with
- level English. - Experience in customer service, in any sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle
- volume interactions. - Strong
- solving and attention to detail. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in insurance or financial sectors.
- 3-5 years in customer service.
- Knowledge of life insurance policies (preferred).
- Experience with CRM tools and customer data analysis.
- Understanding of AI-powered customer service tools.
- Legal and compliance awareness.
