The Opportunity:
As a Customer Project Manager, you will report to the Service Director, and be responsible for managing and ensuring the successful implementation of Roche's solutions for our customers. You will organize, coordinate, and supervise all related activities and stakeholders to ensure high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction. This includes coordinating internal and external resources for flawless project execution, all while aligning with departmental and organizational objectives. Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Manage complex and simple facility projects, including installations, establishing and ensuring adherence to project management standards within Customer Service, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within technical quality, reliability, and cost requirements.
Define project scope and objectives with all stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility. Collaborate with teams to secure necessary resources, including equipment and accessories.
Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and recommend adjustments to plans, budgets, and resources, performing risk management activities minimizing project risks.
Create and maintain essential project documentation. Manage activities and projects in Roche systems, providing application support and connecting with Business IT.
Monitor and manage distributor service processes, acting as Roche's contact for customer service issues.

You are an experienced project manager, with excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to create trustful relations with stakeholders and peers. With a passion to innovate, learn, and manage changes and a proactive and strong customer orientation mindset, you are looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry!
What you'll bring to the team:
Higher education in Engineering or Life Sciences (or equivalent), with a solid understanding of the healthcare market, particularly diagnostics. Project Management studies or certification are a significant advantage.
Strong expertise in applying project management tools and methodologies, ideally within healthcare or hospital laboratory construction settings. Experience in managing
- sales service processes, coupled with knowledge and experience in Lean management methodologies, is highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate implementation efficiency, encompassing budget management, cost analysis, and overall project profitability. Strong business acumen, capable of identifying opportunities for enhanced business impact beyond mere operational considerations.
Exceptional planning and prioritization skills, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Strong negotiation and argumentation skills, excellent
- solving abilities, and a decisive individual. Proactively addresses risks and issues, while consistently ensuring quality.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in
- functional teams, working effectively both independently and collaboratively, without directly supervising others.
Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to change.
Effective communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
Note: Candidates for this role are expected to maintain regular
- site presence at either our Lisbon or Porto office to facilitate team collaboration and dynamics. Moreover, significant travel (approximately 60-70%) to customer locations within the national territory will be a key component of the role.
