Location: Porto, Portugal – Hybrid working model. Candidates must already live in Portugal and speak fluent English. Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity.

We are looking for a Cyber Program Coordinator to support the deployment of cybersecurity initiatives across regional entities of a leading global financial institution.

- mid level role suitable for someone with up to 3 years of cybersecurity experience who wants to grow in cyber governance and program management.

About The Role

You will act as a key liaison between cybersecurity stakeholders and regional business/IT teams, helping to follow the implementation of cybersecurity controls, monitor progress, and support reporting to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of cybersecurity programs across regional entities
• Act as SPOC for various cybersecurity domains including IAM, application security, vulnerability management, and data security
• Monitor compliance with security rules and procedures
• Participate in risk assessments with ITRO and assist in prioritizing mitigation activities
• Maintain program documentation, dashboards, KPIs and governance reports
• Track progress in
  - up tools (e. g. , Service
  Now, Power BI)
• Prepare material for monthly/weekly reviews and quarterly steering committees
• Coordinate with global and regional security officers to define and support security action plans

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and governance
• Project management exposure is a plus
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in English (mandatory)
• French and/or Spanish is a plus
• Power BI knowledge is a plus
• Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder communication abilities
• Rigorous, client‑oriented, adaptable, and collaborative mindset

Additional Information

• Ability to travel within and outside Portugal when required
