We’re looking for a bright Cyber Security Gandalf to join our team. As a Cyber Security Gandalf at Critical Tech
Works, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding our corporate digital footprint and assets. Your passion for technology and protecting the digital environment will help drive our security initiatives, ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and resilient. The role supports overall security initiatives, implements, maintains and improves security policies, and oversees security operations contributing to the continuous improvement of the corporate security culture and posture.

Responsibilities

• Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor alerts, intelligence, and relevant information to analyze specific threats and conduct threat hunting activities.
• Vulnerability Management: Utilize tools to identify and manage vulnerabilities, ensuring timely remediation and enhancing overall security posture.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement comprehensive incident response plans and procedures, including identification, remediation, containment, and eradication.
• Policy Implementation: Implement and maintain security policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
• Risk Management: Apply knowledge of cyber security risk management to protect corporate assets and support strategic security initiatives.
• Security Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to security standards such as ISO2700x, NIST, and CIS, maintaining a high level of security across all operations.

Technical Skills

• Experienced in planning and strategizing asset protection.
• Skilled in monitoring alerts, intelligence, and relevant information for threat analysis and hunting.
• Experienced with vulnerability management tools.
• Proficient in incident response, including developing and executing plans and procedures.
• Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining security policies, processes, and procedures.
• Competent in cyber security risk management.
• Familiar with security standards such as ISO2700x, NIST, and CIS.
• Relevant cyber security certifications preferred.

  - functional team member by using and developing new skills and enabling a fully responsible team able to cover the whole product lifecycle.
• Be available to travel abroad for short periods, as required to support all the phases of the product development cycle when needed.
• Have excellent English oral and written skills. German communication skills will be a plus.
