Embark on a dynamic journey as a Cybersecurity Supplier Assessor at Siemens Energy, where no two days are the same. In this role you will dive into supplier assessments, cooperating with key partners to identify critical suppliers and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. Your day will involve evaluating security controls, analyzing risks, and driving innovation through tools and process improvements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct detailed assessments of cybersecurity practices and third‑party controls, analyze findings to identify risks and gaps.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal and other stakeholders to develop and implement improvement plans; translate cybersecurity clauses in supplier contracts and support negotiations.
• Drive innovation throughout the assessment lifecycle, supporting transformation to improve efficiency and effectiveness using lean methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and share best practices on cybersecurity standard methodologies with internal teams, collaborators, and suppliers.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends and emerging threats to continuously improve assessment methodologies; benchmark third‑party risk management services and tools.
• Lead multiple projects and maintain communication flow with all key parties, making a direct impact on the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

What You Bring

• University degree in computer science, data science, information technology, legal fields, or a comparable technology/business‑management related degree.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally (at least 10 % of the time).
• Familiarity with information security risk methodologies and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and analytical skills; experience with security of networks, services, and products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with procurement, legal, suppliers, and executive management.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end supplier assessments, integrating application security processes, and ensuring risk measures are documented, understood and handled.
