Job Title: Data & AI Platform/Solution Architect Specialist

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Role: We are seeking a visionary Data & AI Platform/Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced data architectures and AI-driven solutions. This strategic role involves modeling complex business requirements across diverse data paradigms, ensuring scalable, secure, and
- performance data ecosystems aligned with organizational goals, particularly within the Energy & Utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data architectures and AI-driven solutions.
• Model business requirements into standardized, denormalized, star, columnar, graph, geographic, time series, or document data models.
• Design data models and architectures for scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, and elasticity.
• Design and implement reference data architectures and a blueprint for an organizational data framework.
• Define Data
  Ops observability indicators (operational health,
  - level health,
  - level health).
• Apply best practices for data governance and data security (data catalog, data lineage, data quality, master data management, metadata management, data standards).
• Ensure consistency in data governance policies, implement technical data stewardship, and improve overall data quality.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar.
• 15+ years of experience in the role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, algorithms, and statistical models (classification, time series analysis, regression).
• Experience with Big
  Data databases (Big
  Query, Azure Synapse, AWS Red
  Shift, Cassandra, Couchbase, HDFS), No
  SQL, and lakehouse architectures.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Portuguese and Spanish language skills.
• DAMA certification.
• CELONIS certification and proven experience.

Working Model:

• Hybrid: 2-3 times per week presential in the client office in Lisbon.
• Travel Time: 50%.
