Data Analyst - IT
What You Will Do
Support the delivery of emerging AI/ML capabilities within Amgen's Neural Nexus program. Collaborate with product owners and
- functional partners to design, implement, and iterate on a layered ecosystem focused on DIAL (Data, Insights, Action, and Learning). Contribute to developing an Agentic AI framework using agile methodologies. Join a team passionate about innovation and making life better through technology.
- Collaborate with the Customer Data & Analytics team to realize business value through commercial data and AI/ML technologies.
- Support delivery activities within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), working with Engineering and Product Management to shape roadmaps and prioritize releases.
- Manage backlog by breaking down Epics into Features and User Stories with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure
- functional requirements are prioritized to maintain performance, scalability, and compliance. - Work with UX to align technical and business requirements with
- centered design. - Assist in developing and delivering product demonstrations for stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and enhancements.
- Contribute to Neural Nexus product teams focused on data connectivity and predictive modeling.
- Support governance discussions and prepare materials for executive alignment on technology strategy.
What We Expect Of You
We seek a highly skilled Specialist IS Business Analyst with a passion for innovation and collaboration. Qualifications include:
- Master’s degree with 4-6 years, Bachelor’s with 6-8 years, or Diploma with 10-12 years of experience in Information Systems.
- Experience in writing user requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Affinity for Dev
Ops and Agile methodologies. - Strong teamwork, deadline management, and accountability skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- Problem-solving in AI-driven technologies.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum), JIRA, and managing product features.
- Excellent communication skills, including with senior leadership.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Data and analytics expertise, familiarity with
- code/no-code automation, technical leadership. - Experience with cloud data technologies (Databricks, Redshift, AWS), NLP, and design patterns.
Soft Skills
- Independence, analytical skills, effective communication, team orientation, initiative, and presentation skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks), data structures, and
- driven development.
