Data Analyst

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong SAS programming skills to support clinical research studies. The selected professional will be responsible for data analysis, display, and documentation following clinical protocols and statistical analysis plans, with additional leadership responsibilities typical of a
- level profile.

This position is part of a global team operating in the clinical trials domain , with an emphasis on ADa
M and TLF production , and requires solid understanding of CDISC standards, safety data structures, and efficient programming workflows.

Responsibilities:

Program all tables, listings, and graphs (TLFs) for assigned clinical study reports

Generate customized data displays based on SAPs and shell specifications

Write robust Base SAS code and macros , and build
- specific libraries and datasets

Prepare and document derived variables, efficacy datasets, and client data transfers

Perform data checks and resolve inconsistencies across spec/SAP/TLF

Lead junior programmers , provide
-
- job training, and track project timelines

Communicate with clients regarding risks, deliverables, and updates

✅ Mandatory requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in ADa
M and TLF production (not just validation)

Advanced proficiency in SAS programming , including SAS macros and syntax

Experience working with ADa
M CDISC guidelines

Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science , or equivalent experience

Excellent command of English (C1) , both spoken and written

Ability to work aligned with Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) from Lisbon (14:30–22:30 local time)

Location: Portugal (Lisbon-based contract)

Work hours: 14:30–22:30 (Lisbon Time) aligned with EDT
