Analyse and interpret US healthcare claims and insurance
- level data using SQL and Python to assess prescription patterns, patient treatment journeys, prescriber landscapes, insurance coverage across competitors, unmet needs, and market size.
Provide strategic insights to inform Moon
Lake's commercialization and

Set up and operate analytics infrastructure for Moon
Lake's commercial activities across multiple data sources and platforms.
Drive
- driven insights for
- functional projects, including scientific publications.
Conduct detailed analyses using secondary
- world data sources, such as claims or EHR, with familiarity in US private and public drug and medical procedure claims data.
Apply knowledge of statistics effectively.
Support the development of study documents like protocols, analysis specifications, and reports.
Create and characterize patient populations, build cohorts, define key variables, and perform detailed cohort analyses ensuring quality and timeliness.
Manage quality control of programs and automate data refresh processes.
Communicate timelines, progress, and results to stakeholders.
Optional: Create dashboards (Power
BI) to visualize data and insights.

Major Accountabilities:

Leverage SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation of patient claims and insurance data.
Analyze patient treatment journeys and healthcare practitioner activity.
Assess market presence and trends using US healthcare claims data.
Evaluate insurance
- level data to understand prescription market coverage.
Merge and harmonize multiple data sources for comprehensive analysis.
Identify gaps and opportunities in competitor insurance coverage and market positioning.
Maintain data quality and integrity throughout analysis processes.
Document processes, experiments, data sources, and analyses for reproducibility.
Collaborate with
- functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
Create and maintain dashboards or reports to monitor key metrics and visualize analytics outcomes.

Job Requirements:

Masters in Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or Ph
D with 1 year of relevant experience.
Skills: SQL, Python, Pandas, Sk
Learn, NLP, Power BI, Git, Data Visualization.
Knowledge of statistics, programming, and
- world studies.
Experience with medical health records, RWD, or claims data is a plus.
Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
