About Our Client

Job Description

This role will be responsible for developing the company's
- based data platform environment and ensuring its operations are optimized for performance and scalability. The Data Architect will provide technical leadership in data, analytics, and AI, collaborating with the Data, Analytics, and AI team, business stakeholders, and
- party partners to operate, manage, and develop Nadara's cloud computing and data platform across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage data platform architectures as a foundation for advanced analytics development.
2. Monitor and optimize data platform performance, scalability, and cost.
3. Oversee
   -
   - day operations of the data platform, including incident management, disaster recovery planning, and system updates.
4. Design and manage data lifecycle management, including versioning, archiving, and retention policies.
5. Work with analytics teams to develop data models and AI / ML / analytics use cases.
6. Create, extend, and manage enterprise data models that allow for consolidation of data from disparate domains, supporting analytical solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Technical skills

1. Experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e. g. , AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, GCP Big
   Query).
2. Proficiency in
   - based data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Fabric (understanding Spark, Delta Lake, etc. ).
3. Familiarity with relational (e. g. , SQL Server, Postgre
   SQL, My
   SQL, Oracle) and No
   SQL databases (e. g. , Mongo
   DB, Cassandra).
4. Strong SQL skills; experience in Python or Scala for data engineering; familiarity with version control systems.
5. Understanding of enterprise data architecture patterns, including data lake, data warehouse, lakehouse, and
   - native designs.
6. Experience with Inmon, Data Vault 2. 0, Kimball, and dimensional modelling.
7. Knowledge of integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and tools (e. g. , Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend).
