Data Architect Lead Porto

Randstad Digital is hiring a Data Architect Lead for direct integration, in a company located in Porto. Hybrid work model (3 days
- site; 2 days remote / week).

Responsibilities

• As a Data Architecture Lead, you oversee the design and implementation of data architecture frameworks.
• Align data strategies with business goals, manage data architecture team(s), and ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data systems and enhance overall performance.
• Support and enable
  - company Data strategy and objectives.
• Lead and manage the data architecture team, ensuring alignment with the
  - 's strategic goals and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data architectures and engineering solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data management, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Ensure the implementation of data governance policies, maintaining data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure the accurate and timely movement of data across systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of data architectures to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Monitor data system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve the
  - 's data capabilities.
• Report on the progress, performance, and impact of data initiatives to senior leadership.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among
  - functional teams involved in data projects.

Competências

• Bachelor-'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data architecture strategies and frameworks that align with business objectives and IT strategy.
• Strong technical background with
  - on experience in managing complex data infrastructures, including data modeling, ETL processes, cloud environments, and big data technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Experience with data architecture modeling tools and frameworks such as TOGAF and Archi
  Mate.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Dev
  Ops methodologies and their application in data management.
• Proven track record of leading
  - functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to
  - technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and
  - building skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring talent.
• Problem solving and solution oriented skills are essential.
