What will be your role

We´re looking for a Data Architect to join our team in a hybrid role for a
- impact project in the banking sector.

You’ll be expected to provide strategic and technical direction, ensuring alignment between the data architecture and business needs, and enabling advanced analytics and
- driven
- making by:

• Designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models across complex systems and data flows;
• Leading the implementation of scalable data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark;
• Establishing and enforcing standards and best practices for data modeling, quality, and lifecycle management;
• Collaborating closely with data engineers and business analysts to define data domain boundaries and integration points;
• Implementing ELT pipelines and orchestrating data ingestion from structured and
  - structured sources;
• Ensuring that architecture decisions consider security, scalability, performance, and maintainability within the Azure environment;
• Providing architectural oversight and mentoring to junior engineers and analysts;
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement by researching and introducing new tools, frameworks, and practices.

What should you bring to the team?

• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles;
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data models for analytical and operational purposes;
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and distributed data processing (Spark, Delta Lake);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud, including: Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database / SQL Managed Instance, Azure Purview (for data governance and cataloging);
• Solid experience in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred);
• Deep understanding of data warehouse/lakehouse architecture and data modeling techniques (3NF, dimensional, Data Vault);
• Experience in designing and enforcing data governance and data quality frameworks;
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities;
• Fluency in English;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model.
