WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

• Extensive Data modelling experience from conceptual to physical models and proficiency in Data modelling tools like Erwin, ER Studio.

• Expertise in data & integration architecture including topics such as
- orientation, APIs,
- driven architectures, batch data integration, data lakes, ‘data mesh, data warehousing, data management etc.

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and Data Platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Data Catalog and Quality tools.

• A solid understanding of existing and emerging data technologies.

• Experience operating with different IT delivery approaches such as agile, waterfall etc.

• In-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of good systems design.

• Expertise in governance and assurance for enterprise data and integration.

• Good understanding of software best practices, including design principles & patterns, security and performance.

• Take ownership of solutions and have experience in presenting them at architecture boards.

• Be a
- focussed, creative, innovative pragmatic and positive team player.

HOW WILL YOUR DAILY JOB BE?

• Closely work with Data Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data models and architectures that support product strategy and outcomes.

• Collaborate with business units (e. g. , revenue management, flight ops), data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and domain SMEs to align data products with operational goals.

• Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data and data quality for the enterprise solution adhering to industry standards and best practices.

• Maintain and govern logical and physical data models by working with technical leads and data modelers to ensure consistency and alignment across data products.

• Drive adoption of data mesh and product thinking within data teams and domain owners to support the realisation of Data Product strategy.

• Promote data governance best practices by ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards and ensure consistency across the solutions.

• Ensure discoverability, interoperability, and observability, lineage and monitoring of all data products.

• Ensure that all architectural efforts are in line with the broader enterprise data strategy and objectives. Maintain
- state architecture documentation and contribute to its ongoing enhancement.
