Job Description

As a Data Center Infrastructure Technician, you will drive infrastructure projects as part of client Data Centers. You will work as part of the Core Implementation team, managing activities across departments, participating in design and development of processes, creating project reports, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Vodafone health and safety guidelines for network deployment.

Responsibilities

• Project management – develop, plan and program execution of infrastructure projects, including new Data Center rooms and expansions (racks, PODs, HVAC, UPS, electricity boards, etc. ), engineering project validation and coordination, budget control and economic evaluation of solutions.
• Infrastructure management for Core Implementation projects in client Data Centers: installation and maintenance of racks, servers, switches, firewalls, routers, storage; installation/removal of network infrastructure (FO and UTP); inventory and registration of assets; communication in Portuguese and English with technicians and customers; ticket work; accreditation of access and monitoring of technicians and customers at Data Center facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Center implementation or operation in productive and critical environments.
• Proficiency in project management tools, continuous improvement, and failure analysis.
• Knowledge of environmental protection measures.
• Proficiency in Auto
  CAD and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc. ).
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows Server).
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, professional conversation).
