About The Role
As CBRE Information & Communications Technology Service Delivery Technician, you will provide
- site support for the ICT and Engineering services within the Data Center environment.
This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, review, and complete IT equipment installation, relocation, and decommission requests within specified timeframes and industry standards.
- Provide
- solving support, including server reboots, backups, visual inspections, etc. - Escort
- party engineers and ensure their compliance with site standards. - Respond to and assign break and fix tickets within the agreed timeframe or escalate as needed.
- Create, review, and update
- site documentation, including standard operating procedures, whenever instructions or processes change. - Manage patching and
- patching requests. - Develop positive working relationships with staff and client representatives.
- Provision and diagnose faults in network connectivity, IT equipment installation, relocation, decommissioning, and general engineering maintenance and housekeeping of critical services.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment while projecting professionalism.
- Use established procedures to resolve straightforward problems.
- Follow detailed duties, methods, and tasks as described.
- Deliver outputs by following defined procedures under supervision.
What You’ll Need
- Training in a technical discipline with an apprenticeship or equivalent, and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Experience and education combined may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Good communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills, including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.
