Cloud Data Platform Architect (Porto | Hybrid) Shore is looking for an experienced Cloud Data Platform Architect to join a
- scale project focused on designing and optimizing
- based data solutions. We're seeking a professional with a strong background in AWS and exposure to Azure, passionate about scalable architecture, automation, and modern data engineering practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, efficient cloud data platforms in AWS, following best practices in cloud architecture and infrastructure.

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) templates using Terraform for platform deployment and automation.

- Lead
- scale data migration and optimization initiatives.

- Define and enforce coding standards and best practices in Python and SQL.

- Work with Iceberg tables and manage large datasets efficiently.

- Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.

- Ensure robust data governance and security practices across platforms.

- Orchestrate complex data workflows with Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.

- Collaborate with
- functional teams to integrate data solutions within the broader technology ecosystem. Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience working with AWS data services, with additional knowledge of Azure data services.

- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in prototyping and defining standards.

- Proven experience developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation scripts.

- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, Kafka, and orchestration tools.

- Demonstrated ability to define data engineering standards and lead complex technical projects.

- Fluency in Portuguese and English (C1 or higher). Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Apache Flink and Kafka.

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or related cloud platforms.
