Data Cloud Platform Architect

What You Will Do

• Architect and design scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions on AWS.
• Lead large‑scale data migration and optimization initiatives.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) templates (e. g. , Terraform) for platform deployment.
• Create Po
  Cs and production‑grade prototypes to define data engineering standards.
• Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
• Work with large datasets using Iceberg table formats and modern data lake approaches.
• Define and enforce governance, security, and architectural best practices across cloud data platforms.
• Contribute to orchestration pipelines with tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, scalable data engineering ecosystems.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience working with AWS data services, with exposure to Azure data services.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Ia
  C (Terraform) and platform deployment automation.
• Proven background in large‑scale data migration and platform modernization.
• Experience with Iceberg tables and large dataset optimization.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices on AWS.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools, large data processing, and preferably Kafka.
• Experience defining governance and security standards for cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks is considered a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (C1+).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Apache Flink, Kafka, or other streaming technologies.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or similar.
• Experience with Dataiku.
