About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer (Azure) to join a
- driven innovation team in the automotive technology sector. This professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures that power advanced analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, strong data engineering experience, and a passion for building scalable, automated, and
- performing data systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines in Azure.
• Data Source Integration: Integrate and process data from multiple structured and unstructured sources, both internal and external.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data solutions across different workloads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product Owners to ensure data is accurate, usable, and
  - relevant.
• Data Governance & Quality: Apply best practices in data quality management, lineage tracking, and data security.
• Automation & Monitoring: Develop automated monitoring mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and quick issue resolution.
• Technical Documentation: Produce clear, structured documentation of data flows, architecture decisions, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in
  - based environments (Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Azure Dev
  Ops (for CI/CD pipeline automation).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile teams.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).

Valued Certifications (Nice to Have)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
