About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a cross‑functional Data
Hub squad within a global data transformation program. Your key role will be developing and maintaining a modern data ecosystem, driving continuous improvements in data ingestion, integration, and exposure while aligning with the organization’s data strategy and IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the Data
  Hub product, its features, and use cases.
• Participate in RUN activities to maintain the platform and propose improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to the platform’s transformation into a new Data Fabric product aligned with the company’s strategic roadmap.
• Analyze business requirements, propose tailored data engineering solutions, and ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, integration, and exposure.
• Monitor production systems and fix issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, service centers, and test teams to ensure full understanding and correct implementation of business needs.
• Measure and monitor product performance indicators and report findings to management.
• Identify and implement technical optimizations or process automation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and updated technical documentation.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide user support and ensure effective communication with stakeholders and business users.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and support junior members when necessary.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven expertise with SQL, Python, Starburst/Trino/Airflow.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes (at least one significant project).
• Knowledge of CI/CD toolchains and automated testing.
• Experience with Cloud architectures, including containers, object storage (COS), and S3‑like protocols.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and KSH scripting.
• Understanding of data security protocols, file exchange systems (CFT), and distributed architectures.

Nice to Have

• Java development (Spring Batch and API experience).
• Oracle SQL knowledge.
• Experience with data platforms in large enterprise environments.

Language Requirements

• French: C1 (mandatory).
• English: B2 (mandatory).
