We are looking for a Data Engineer for a project in Lisbon.
Responsibilities:
- The service to be provided focuses on analyzing, developing, and operating workflows.
- In this role as a Angular Developer, you will engage directly with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions tailored to their needs.
- Your work will involve designing and implementing applications that support business objectives in an agile environment, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- As part of an international Dev
Ops team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing platforms by developing new functionalities and improving existing ones. Your role will cover the entire software development lifecycle, including specification, design, implementation, testing, and bug fixes. - Additionally, you will contribute to requirements gathering, business process engineering, and implementing both functional and
- functional change requests. A key part of the role will also involve incident and problem analysis, as well as resolving bugs to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, or a similar role with a strong focus on data warehousing.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Extensive
- on experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation, version control, testing, and pipeline orchestration. - Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e. g. , dimensional modeling, data vault) and practical experience in designing and implementing complex data models.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and complex query writing.
- Data Visualization tools - Qlik Sense / Qlik View / Tableau.
- Power
BI (DAX, models, scale, RLS, etc). - Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
- Experience with Power BI (nice to have).
- Prior experience with Qlik Sense, particularly understanding its data architecture and data loading mechanisms, to facilitate a smooth transition to Power BI (nice to have).
- Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools (nice to have).
- Good level of English.
