Job Summary

Keyrus is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable data pipelines and
- based data solutions.

This position is Hybrid in Carnaxide - Lisbon - (3 days/week onsite required).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient data pipelines using Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL.
• Develop and optimise advanced SQL processes, including functions and stored procedures.
• Build and orchestrate workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and optimise ETL/ELT data transformation performance.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of modern
  - based architectures, including Lakehouse models.
• Follow best practices for each technology and propose technical improvements.
• Respond proactively to team and management needs, with the ability to work independently.

Requirements for the role

• At least 5 years of solid data engineering skills, including data transformation, modelling, and integration.
• Proficient in SQL and data pipeline tools.
• Hands-on experience with Data Factory and Databricks, and Python.
• Experience working in a collaborative and Agile environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
