We are looking for a Data Engineer – Azure Ecosystem (Lisbon or Porto)

MAIN TASKS:

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining secure and efficient data pipelines using Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
• Strong programming skills in Py
  Spark and SQL to build and optimize data processing workflows.
• Ability to design, implement, and optimize SQL processes including stored procedures and functions to meet analytical and data processing requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with data scientists and other data engineers to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline.
• Implement BI data modeling solutions that support
  - driven
  - making.
• Monitor and improve the performance of ETL/ELT processes to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Experience working with modern cloud data architectures, particularly Lakehouses and related concepts.
• Follow best practices for each technology, applying critical thinking to continuously improve solutions.
• Demonstrate responsibility and accountability when responding to team needs and organizational hierarchies.
• Exhibit a
  - oriented mindset, able to engage with different stakeholders effectively.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of additional Microsoft data platform tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS (on-premise oriented).
• Familiarity with adjacent Azure technologies like Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault, Log Analytics, etc.
• Ability to analyze project technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
• Experience in activities beyond pure engineering, such as data modeling and visualization.
• Knowledge of Power BI, especially semantic modeling and DAX, is a strong plus.
• Exposure to other cloud data technologies such as Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, or
  - cloud environments.
• Experience with Dev
  Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Hybrid role based in Porto or Lisbon.
