Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company operating in Portugal since 2007, with offices in Lisbon and Oporto. We are specialized in consulting for Management, Implementation, Development, and Maintenance of Information Systems. We collaborate with over 150 active partners across sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy, and transport.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Strong knowledge of Spark with Scala, Apache Airflow, Kafka / Event Streaming, and S3 / COS (mandatory);
• Solid experience with SQL and No
  SQL databases;
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Git
  Lab, Jenkins);
• French and English fluency (at least B2 level);
• Residency in Portugal (citizenship, residence permit / work visa) — mandatory.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to support the migration from legacy platforms to modern data hubs;
• Optimize data flows to enrich and transform large volumes of information using complex business rules;
• Automate ingestion and orchestration processes with Apache Airflow;
• Implement solutions with Spark (Scala), COS / S3 storage, and Parquet format;
• Set up CI / CD pipelines, unit testing, and validation processes;
• Prepare technical and operational documentation;
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting;
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement within the team.
