Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our team and help shape
- driven solutions that power strategic
- making. You will design and maintain scalable pipelines, ensure data quality and performance, and collaborate with
- functional teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise robust and scalable data pipelines in the cloud
- Monitor and improve data workflows, ensuring high availability, performance, and quality
- Perform peer code reviews and validate data pipelines to maintain best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions
- Support dashboard performance and troubleshoot data issues in collaboration with
- users - Contribute to the evolution of data engineering frameworks, tools, and methodologies
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience
- Proven track record in data engineering projects, preferably in agile environments
- Experience in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines in the cloud
- Hands-on experience with code reviews, validation processes, and dashboard optimisation
Know-How
- High proficiency in Python and SQL
- Extensive knowledge of Py
Spark - Experience with Azure Databricks is highly valued
- Strong understanding of software development principles (e. g. , SOLID, clean code)
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of data workflows
Languages
- Portuguese: Fluent (spoken and written)
- English: Fluent (spoken and written)
- Additional languages will be considered a plus
