Data Engineer for a Mobile Services Company

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT, Airflow, and SQL
• Design and optimize data models and warehouses on AWS Redshift
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in Python for data processing and automation
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and performance
• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS cloud services, especially Redshift
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with DBT and Airflow
• Experience with other AWS services such as S3, Lambda, or Glue
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems (e. g. , Git)
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and BI platforms
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently and in a
  - oriented environment
• Excellent
  - solving and communication skills
• +3 years of experience. English should be at least C1

Location

Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra Hybrid
