Established in 2021, Consort Portugal supports the strategic offshoring choices of our clients, particularly in Europe, and brings our expertise in infrastructure services to the Portuguese market. With a team of around 45 employees, our Service Center based in Porto is developing a dynamic nearshore business, offering the French and European markets an environment of excellence and high potential.

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data engineering, data management, and delivering innovative data solutions? Then this position is for you.

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting, integrating, and exposing business data, and maintaining and enhancing the Data
Hub platform in our ecosystem.

• Collect, analyze, and challenge business line needs; propose technical solutions tailored to the ecosystem and existing constraints.
• Maintain and enhance the Data
  Hub product, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvements.
• Participate in all phases of data engineering projects: data collection, ingestion, integration, and exposure.
• Actively contribute to agile rituals and collaborate with IT teams to deliver features according to planning, scope, and quality commitments.

This is your background

You have at least 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, cloud, and agile environments. You enjoy building reliable data pipelines, solving complex data challenges, and implementing innovative solutions and are constantly innovating. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

This is your expertise

• Linux tools, in an Agile, Dev
  Ops, Cloud team – technologies used in the context
• SQL, Python, Airflow, Starburst / Trino, KSH, ETL/ELT, CI/CD toolchain, Cloud concepts (containers, Object Storage, S3)
• Optional: Java (Spring Batch / API), Oracle SQL
• Languages:
  • French (C1)
  • English (B2)
