We are looking for a Data Engineer GCP to join one of our biggest clients, a global organization focused on digital transformation and

Location: Full remote in Portugal

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms
• Collect, process, and analyze large and complex data sets from various sources
• Develop and implement data processing workflows using technologies such as Spark and Apache Beam
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Ensure data security and privacy through access controls and encryption

What you are like:

• Experience with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (GCP)
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
• Knowledge of Big Data tools (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Hive, etc. )
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and No
  SQL databases
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e. G. , Apache Kafka, Talend)
• Understanding of distributed systems and data processing architectures
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
