MAIN MISSION
The Data Engineering Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and technical components of the Cockpit Data Factory.
This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that data factory aligns with the product vision, customer needs, and market trends.
The Data Engineering Lead designs, develops, and implements data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and easily maintainable.
They understand stakeholders’ requirements and translate them into technical solutions, identifying opportunities to optimize and improve data processes.
The Data Engineering Lead contributes to the technical readiness of the Cockpit team, sharing his knowledge and identifying rooms for collective improvement.
DIMENSION OF ROLE
The Data Engineering Lead manages data pipelines and infrastructure, leading a team of data specialists and collaborating with counterparts from multiple AXA GO products and AXA entities.
They ensure that all data requirements are met and contribute to answering data needs, fulfilling Quality of Service requirements in various AXA GO and Opcos business areas.
Additionally, they contribute to increasing the maturity of GO and Opcos in terms of data management and quality of service measurement.
Finally, they define the roadmap of Cockpit Data Factory in line with the vision of the product and the priorities of AXA GO.
Technical expertise :
- In-depth technical knowledge of Data Engineering tools and technologies (, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Py
Spark, Azure Analysis Services). - Ability to design and implement data solutions that meet stakeholder needs and are secure, scalable, and easily maintainable.
- Expertise in Power
BI data visualization tool - Knowledge of performance monitoring tolls is well appreciated.
Leadership :
- Lead a team of data specialists to implement projects, improvements, and modifications to data solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required standard.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Communication :
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (including business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Lead technical activities related to data pipeline delivery.
- Define and implement data pipeline configurations.
- Regularly review and optimize data pipeline performance to ensure optimal usage of resources and

- Contribute to the definition and the roadmap of data solutions.
- Ensure the application of security, risk, and data privacy compliance.
- Communicate with data tool vendors.
Build of Data aggregation, analysis and reporting
- Assess GO and Opcos’ products’ needs in terms of data management and processing.
- Design and implement appropriate data solutions to onboard new scopes to Cockpit Data Factory
- Contribute to the

- end data view by providing metrics and insights related to covered scopes. - Contribute to building the data solutions roadmap in line with Global Product’s vision and with AXA GO strategy and priorities.
- Perform continuous improvement and market/technology watch.
