? We are looking for a Data Engineer

MAIN TASKS:

• Explore, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets to support business objectives.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines to handle large volumes of data efficiently and reliably.
• Collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define use cases, formulate hypotheses, and design solutions.
• Ensure
  - quality and
  - performance data engineering solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in development.
• Automate the
  -
  - end release process of data artifacts across environments.
• Monitor and perform daily ETL job checks, coordinating with production and functional support teams when necessary.
• Contribute to infrastructure integrity by defining priorities and tracking technical issues.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

Experience & Seniority:

• Senior profile with
  - on experience in data engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced expertise in SQL (Level 3 – Expert).
• Practical experience in Python (Level 2 – Practice).
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes (Level 3 – Expert).
• Good understanding of programming concepts and languages (Level 2 – Practice).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data release automation.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Clear communication skills – capable of explaining technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional and diverse environments.

Language Requirements:

• Minimum English level B2 (spoken and written).

• Hybrid role based in Porto or Lisbon.
