We are looking for a Data Engineer | Power BI for a hybrid project in Porto (twice a week in the office). Main Tasks and Responsibilities:• Work closely with business users, business analysts, data scientists, data engineers and developers to deliver world class data driven solutions• Drive insights to answer business questions with data and visualizations, transforming data into actionable insights• Collaborate with engineering to design and develop scalable ETL pipelines• Build dashboards and reports to drive awareness and understanding of metrics;• Build and maintain clean data models. Requirements:• BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or a similar area• Experience with Power BI 4+ years• Analytical mindset, to analyze large amounts of data and identify patterns, trends, seasonality and other data behaviors• Clearly communicate data insights, findings and results to internal and external stakeholders• English B2+ (mandatory) ;• The candidate must be living in Portugal (mandatory). • Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required
Nice to Have / Plus:• Experience working with Engineering on ETL pipelines;• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R;• SQL and VBA• SSAS, SSIS and Azure• Previous experience on financial area. • Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban)• French
