Job Summary

Accenture is looking for Data Engineers who also have skills in software development, to help us with design, develop, and maintain data solutions. Applicants must have experience in Python and SQL. We have offices in Lisbon, Braga, and Coimbra - hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and applications (Python-based)
• Work with
  - based data platforms (e. g. , Databricks, Spark, Azure) for
  - scale processing
• Managing databases and ensuring data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• +3 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or software development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid experience with SQL for data manipulation and transformation
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark and Databricks
• Exposure to machine learning workflows: model training, evaluation, deployment
• Hands-on experience withAPI developmentand integration (e. g. , RESTful APIs, Graph
  QL)
• Experience withmicroservices architectureand containerization tools likeDockerorKubernetes
• Knowledge of data modeling, data lakes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• French and/or Spanish are a BIG Plus
