Brain is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support strategic data initiatives for a key client in the Energy & Utilities sector. This project focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines, structuring raw data, and enabling complex analysis across multiple business units. The consultant will work closely with technical and business teams in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and structure large volumes of raw data
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics
• Interpret data trends and patterns to deliver valuable business insights
• Ensure continuous operation and optimization of data flows
• Evaluate business needs and design solutions aligned with those objectives
• Prepare datasets for predictive and prescriptive modelling
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams on
  - driven
  - making
• Develop and test data algorithms and prototypes

? Required Skills & Experience:

• Up to 10 years of experience in similar roles
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong
  - solving mindset and analytical thinking
• Experience in global and collaborative working environments
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools like JIRA/Confluence (valued)
• Previous experience in projects (valued)
• Understanding of GDPR and Energy & Utilities sector (valued)
• Languages: English (mandatory), Portuguese and Spanish (valued)
